Annual Show 2026
Annual Show 2026
Saturday 5th September 2026
St Nicholas Parish Church
Doors open to visitors at 2:00pm
Entries are now closed
Thank you to everyone who has entered this year's Annual Show. Online entries closed on Sunday 30th August. If you have entered, please bring your exhibits to the church between 8:30am and 10:30am on Saturday.
Special Arrangements for the 2026 Show
After an exceptionally challenging growing season, this year's show is taking place in a reduced and more informal format. Rather than cancel the event, we want to celebrate what members and exhibitors have managed to grow and make despite the difficult conditions.
- Fruit and vegetable displays will be more informal this year, with the emphasis on taking part rather than producing large quantities.
- Flowers, crafts, baking, preserves, photography and children's entries will continue where possible.
- A small number of individual classes may still be judged where sufficient entries have been received, with first, second and third places awarded where appropriate.
- Trophy competitions will not be awarded this year.
- Best Front Garden and Best Hanging Basket will not be judged this year.
Above all, the emphasis this year is on participation, community and celebrating what people have achieved.
